Our Services

EDA specializes in providing remediation services for your building and facilities. We customize our services based on your building’s floor plan, daily activities in existing facilities, and the number of daily users. Our specialized equipment and certified workers provide special care and handling of high-usage and high touch areas. Examples are entrances, cafeterias, restrooms, door handles, switches, countertops, and offices just to name a few.

nvironmental Disinfecting Agency Inc. is part of the “Emergency Services Field” within the Biohazard cleaning and disinfecting materials category. This sector specifically identifies “workers who conduct a range of operations and services that are essential to critical infrastructure viability including workers who support viral and pathogen response and cleanup.”The worldwide Corona virus (COVID-19) outbreak has people scrambling to protect themselves, their homes and their businesses from potential contamination. The effects of this type of Viral situation can last years and the continued spread of the disease has led to a growing number of fatalities in the US. The Environmental Disinfecting Agency is an industry leader in the cleaning and disinfecting of facilities, including and not limited to pathogen, and corona virus disinfection, and delivers the highest professional standards possible. We are dedicated to providing rapid emergency response 24/7 throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania so you can have peace of mind in the event of an outbreak.

Corona virus has quickly gained a reputation for being particularly insidious. It can survive on surfaces for up to 3 days and people infected by the virus don’t show symptoms until approximately two weeks after infection, making it difficult to track and contain. This is why having a trusted professional in viral and pathogen disinfection on your side is so important. EDA Inc. adheres to all OSHA regulations, is certified by the IJCSA (International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association), and strictly follows the CDC'S most state-of-the-art procedures when it comes to disease cleanup and disinfection. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is still novel, so our Coronavirus OSHA certified Task Force continually consults with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for up-to-date solutions and utilizes CDC approved and EPA registered disinfectants.

With the guidance of the CDC and a solid remediation plan developed by scientists, Environmental Disinfecting Agency can help develop a strategic plan for you and your employees. Together we can stop the spread of Corona viruses and other harmful pathogens. With the recent development and use of electrostatic ULV "ultra low volume" generation systems it has made the process easier and affordable. This development allows a disinfectant to adhere to porous and non-porous materials alike. It will adhere to desks, computer keyboards, light switches, doorknobs, doors, railings, walls, ceilings just to name a few. It is an electrostatic aerosol that is less than 10 microns in size spraying a disinfectant that has a broad spectrum kill claim. When applied correctly by trained technicians it will not damage electronics, paper or fabrics. We use a line of disinfecting products that are both green and medical grade. All chemicals are safe and adhere to EPA and FDA guidelines in the eradication of Corona viruses "Covid19" and a host of the most insidious bacterial and viral microorganisms. These disinfectants are listed as Tier 1 and protect the health and safety of our customers, their pets, their children, their food, and their property. These chemicals are safe to handle by trained technicians and should not be applied by non-trained personel. With more than 25 years of experience and knowledge in air quality, water treatment, and site remediation we offer a wide range of services including but not limited to HVAC optimization for safe air quality in the workspace or home. We adhere to the highest standards in strategic development and planning of the total eradication of viruses and bacteria in your environment. We stand by our work with a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. We are diligent and thorough because we understand that the health and safety of you, your family and pets are on the line. To many people,  remediation sounds like standard cleaning. In reality, the two services couldn’t be any more different. Virus and mold remediation is biohazard remediation and refers to the removal, cleaning, and disinfection of potentially harmful pathogens in affected areas after a communicable disease outbreak. Because of the high exposure risk to pathogens, microorganism remediation is a specialty service that requires proper training, equipment, certification, and licensing.

When selecting a company to provide  microorganism remediation and disinfection services, it is imperative that you select a company, like EDA Inc., that is OSHA compliant and certified and follows all CDC guidance regarding coronavirus.

General Duty Clause, 29 USC 654, section 5(a)(1) requires that employers protect their employees from recognized hazards.

“Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees’ employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees.”

Additionally, the coronavirus is listed as a serious health hazard and must be recorded as an occupational illness in 29 CFR 1904.5(b)(2). This means that if an employee contracts COVID-19 from another employee or through occupational exposure on a cleaning job you asked him to do, the illness is recordable on the OSHA log for that business. If it results in job restriction, days away or fatality, this is also required to be recorded. If an employer chooses to ignore or not record that incident the employer will be held responsible. If you have a cleaning company not certified or licensed in biohazard “virus” cleanup and have not done the due diligence to vet that company it is the employers’ responsibility. Insurance companies are demanding all employers find reputable cleaning companies certified in the biohazard cleanup of “viruses”. Ultimately the employer did what they could, to help stop the spread and protect their employees and by doing so protect themselves their company and their assets.

There’s a requirement 29 CFR 1904.5(b)(2). to contact OSHA to actually report infections or hospitalization if it is from Coronavirus. In the case of a death, an OSHA and insurance inspection and investigation would follow and could result in a fine if the company did not take the necessary measures to curb the spread when they knew about it and should have. A lawyer will not be far behind. Protect your assets abide by the law.
